Introducing the New: Owen Sound Free Press II

Your Freedom in Christ(Yasheua)

By Douglas Schapira (aka Daniel)

Many local folks in the Owen Sound area, various other country men, and even some individuals from other nations are most likely familiar with the “old”, Owen Sound Free Press (OSFP) http://osfreepress.wordpress.com . This independent/ non-corporate newspaper has sought to establish the truth in the past, and to do its best to present it to a wide range of readers both in print and on the internet.

In the past the OSFP was missing one key element. This key element was that the “OSFP” was not grounded in Christ. The word Christ is otherwise known as Yasheua, which is the Hebrew name. I would like to present, the new “Owen Sound Free Press II”, it has now definitely come of age!

Before we go any further, it is important to define “truth”. Modern dictionaries have perverted original meanings of many words in the English language. I highly recommend Noah Webster’s dictionary of 1828, which defines “truth” as:

Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be…we rely on the truth of scriptural prophecies.

The holy bible is the definitive resource of truth for all people. I suggest the King James Version of the bible (1611 AD, edition), or the William Tyndale’s English translation of 1526. No other religion can boast the prophetic accuracy that the true Christian bible provides. However, one must we weary of newer translations claiming to be easier to understand. They, like many dictionaries pervert, distort, and alter the truth.

As a reminder to some, no other person following “a single faith”, has experienced as much persecution, hatred, and revile as the True Christian Faith, which is what the OSFP will discuss in many future articles.

Here is a quote from an original compiler, coming from Noah Webster, of the Webster’s dictionary from 1828, and he was once quoted as saying:

“In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children under a free government ought to be instructed…

…the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.               December 12 2010
